Yes. The core speech recognition, command parsing, and computer-control loop all run locally on your Mac. You only need internet for account features (sign-in, license verification, syncing custom commands) and for any cloud-backed integrations you explicitly enable. Dictation works on planes, in tunnels, anywhere.

Does Neo send my voice to the cloud?

No. Audio is captured, processed, and discarded on your Mac. We never transmit raw audio to our servers by default. For users who explicitly opt into a cloud transcription option, audio routes only to the configured provider — and that opt-in is off by default.

Will Neo work on Windows?
